I am the Clinical Governance Lead at Bloomfield Health and a Consultant Psychiatrist with a background in neuroscience and medical education. I studied medical sciences (neuroscience) and clinical medicine at the University of Oxford and hold a PhD in Neuroscience, where I explored the neurobiology of psychosis using neuroimaging. My academic achievements have been recognized with awards from the Rosetrees Trust, the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and other prestigious organizations. I am also a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and a National Institute for Health Research Clinical Lecturer at King’s College London, where I teach and conduct research.
I completed my specialist training in General Adult Psychiatry at the Maudsley Hospital, where I developed a specialist outpatient service for treatment-resistant schizophrenia. My clinical interests include psychosis, severe mental illness, mood disorders, neuropsychiatry, perinatal psychiatry, and women’s mental health. I am also passionate about working with families to support holistic care.
At Bloomfield Health, I lead clinical governance to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in patient care. I am committed to advancing evidence-based practices and fostering collaboration, helping patients achieve meaningful recovery and improved well-being.
