I'm a Consultant Physician in Infectious Diseases and Virology based at the Royal London Hospital.

I have over 16 years of experience working in the NHS and have worked in Nottingham and London as well as the Northern Territory, Australia. I work in clinical virology and have a special interest in viral hepatitis (especially hepatitis B and hepatitis delta), the application of pathogen genomics to inform epidemiology and infection control as well as virus infections in the immunocompromised host. I am a member of the Royal College of Physicians. 

I regularly teach students, junior doctors and scientists in clinical virology and I have published articles in international medical journals including the British Medical Journal and Clinical Infectious Diseases.
