Director of Clinical Psychology

I am a Principal Clinical Psychologist and Director of Clinical Psychology at Bloomfield Health, with over 15 years of experience in the UK National Health Service (NHS) and private practice. I specialise in working with adults facing challenges such as depression, anxiety disorders, low self-esteem, body image concerns, and difficulties in relationships. I have a particular interest in LGBTQ+ mental health. My approach is compassionate, collaborative and goal-focused, helping patients build confidence and achieve meaningful change. At Bloomfield Health I lead our psychological therapies care pathway, provide psychological assessment and therapy, and offer clinical supervision. I have post-graduate training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), couple therapy, and dynamic interpersonal therapy (DIT). In my NHS role with the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, aside from direct clinical work with patients, I lead a large team of psychological therapists, ensuring the highest standards of care. I provide clinical supervision, support professional development, and teach trainees and students at doctoral and post-doctoral levels. With published work in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, I am dedicated to evidence-based practice and empowering others to thrive.

Qualifications and Accreditation

I hold a professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) and have completed additional postgraduate training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Behavioural Couple Therapy (BCT), and Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT). I am registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and hold Chartered Clinical Psychologist status with the British Psychological Society (BPS). I am fully accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), and I am an accredited DIT practitioner with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).
