Senior Cognitive Behaviorual Psychotherapist
I’m an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with a passion for health, wellbeing and supporting others to fulfil their potential. I have a warm, empathetic nature and enjoy working with clients to help break vicious cycles of unhelpful thinking and behaviour. I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in 2018, graduating with a distinction from the University of Oxford. Since then I have worked in primary care mental health services across London, treating a range of mental health difficulties including (but not limited to): Depression, Social Anxiety, Generalised Anxiety, Panic Disorder, OCD, Health Anxiety, Body Dysmorphia Disorder, PTSD, phobias, psychosexual difficulties, performance anxiety, perfectionism, disordered eating, chronic pain and low self-esteem. I have since gone on to train in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and offer both modalities in my practice. I continue to work part time for the NHS within the Dental Psychology Service, specialising in presentations of dental phobia and oro-facial pain. Before training in psychotherapy I was as a Speech and Language Therapist, and I have a wealth of experience working with children and adults with communication difficulties. Outside of work I love to spend my time cycling my way around London making the most of the culinary delights the city has to offer.
